A Little Sprout
I officially have my first sprouts!!! I have three now; two Cherokee purples ( a deep red tomato ) and one small yellow tomato. There are approx 5 of each in the soil. Or maybe ten??? I don't remember actually. But nevertheless, something's growing and I'm just happy for that. Kinda an Xmas gift from nature ;)

Did you use a commercial soil package or is it sourced from a compost? Just curious.. and liking your effort.
I did use a commerical soil but organic with something called vermiculite on top.
I don't have any compost (Ive only been home for 4 months, not really time to make compost) BTW, the sprouts are much bigger now and there are more but we had a frost last night, so I am hoping that they've made it through this cold snap. I will post again. I really do need to be more vigilant ;-)
